Jennifer is a Colorado native and moved to Vermont to attend New England Culinary Institute, graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor's in Hospitality & Restaurant Management. Her interest in food service began after participating in ProStart in high school and getting her first job at 16 years old at a deli. After college she worked in a variety of food service positions. She has 18 years of experience in the food industry. Her dream was to own a restaurant but after having kids found school food service to be the perfect balance for raising a family. Jennifer began working for The Abbey Group in 2020 and looks forward to growing and continuing to provide meals to the students in Middlebury and beyond.
